Terms of Service
About these terms
These terms explain the rules for using adasci.org and the courses, credentials, exams, memberships, events and community features offered on it (together, "the Services"). By creating an account, buying anything or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Effective date: 6 November 2026.
Who we are
ADaSci is the professional body for AI practitioners. It is an initiative by AIM Media House. In these terms, "ADaSci", "we" and "us" mean the AIM Media House company that receives your payment: AIM Media House LLC, 1190 Miraloma Way, Suite P, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA, for payments in US dollars, and AIM Media House (India), 1st Floor, Sakti Statesman, Marathahalli–Sarjapur Outer Ring Road, Green Glen Layout, Bellandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560103, India, for payments in Indian rupees. "You" means anyone who visits or uses the Services.
You can reach us at info@adasci.org.
Our Privacy Policy at adasci.org/privacy-policy explains how we collect and use personal information. It forms part of these terms.
Your account
You need an account to buy, enrol, sit an exam or post in the community. Some features also let you sign in with Google.
- Give accurate details, including the name you want shown on any credential you earn.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- An account is for one person. Do not share it or let someone else use it, especially for an exam.
- You must be 18 or older to create an account or buy anything. If you are 13 to 17, you may use the Services only with the permission of a parent or guardian. The Services are not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them, as the Privacy Policy explains.
If you sign up with an email address from your employer or another organisation, that organisation may be able to see and manage some of your account information, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Prices and payment
- Prices are shown on each course, credential, membership and event page. You can view them in US dollars (USD) or Indian rupees (INR).
- A cart is paid in one currency. USD payments are processed by Stripe and INR payments by Razorpay. Card and other payment details are entered with and processed by those providers.
- You can add items to a cart without signing in, but you must sign in to check out. The price you pay is the price calculated by our server at checkout, which may differ from a price saved earlier in your browser if it has changed.
- Member prices apply only while you hold an active ADaSci membership. Promotions, discount codes and bundles apply only as described where they are offered.
- Access to what you bought starts once the payment provider confirms the payment to us.
- Store credit in your account wallet can be applied at checkout. It does not expire and cannot be refunded to your card.
- Any tax that applies is shown at checkout before you pay.
Refunds, retakes and transfers
- Refunds: exams, credentials and memberships cannot be refunded once they are issued or activated. Courses cannot be refunded once access is granted, and events cannot be refunded once your seat is confirmed, unless the event page says otherwise. If you are charged twice or charged the wrong amount, we will refund the duplicate or incorrect charge. To ask for a refund, email info@adasci.org.
- Exam retakes: if you do not pass a credential exam, you can book a retake for the retake fee shown on that credential's page (for example, $20 per attempt for CFDE).
- AIDP sittings: seats are confirmed on payment, and you may transfer to another sitting up to 14 days before your sitting.
- Memberships: see "Memberships" below. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your membership runs to the end of the term you have paid for.
Memberships
- There are two individual tiers, General and Premium, with one, two or three year terms. Current fees are on adasci.org/memberships.
- General gives 50% off courses and workshops and 30% off certification exams. Premium includes every course at no extra cost and 50% off certification exams. Membership is not a credential: each credential is earned by passing its exam.
- Your membership starts as soon as you join online and renews automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel.
- You can cancel at renewal, no questions asked. You can also change tier or term at a renewal.
- Institutional membership for organisations is agreed separately with each organisation.
Courses and learning content
- When you buy or enrol in a course or credential, you get a personal, non-transferable right to access its content for your own learning, for as long as stated on its page.
- Do not copy, share, resell or publish course videos, slides, notes, assignments or exam material.
Exams and credentials
- Credential exams are taken online and remotely proctored unless the credential page says otherwise. You need a quiet room, a webcam and a stable connection. AIDP is sat in person, on a computer, at a scheduled sitting.
- By starting a proctored exam you agree to the monitoring described before the exam starts.
- A credential is issued only when you pass its exam. Each credential has a unique credential ID, and anyone can check it at adasci.org/verify-certificate.
- How long a credential stays valid is shown on its page. AIDP is valid for two years and is renewed by passing the renewal examination.
- Describe your credential accurately and do not alter certificates or badges.
- AIDP is also governed by the AIDP Holder Terms at adasci.org/aidp/terms and the ADaSci Code of Professional Conduct. Under those terms ADaSci may suspend or revoke AIDP for breach of the Code, for a credential obtained by misrepresentation, impersonation or examination misconduct, or for misuse of the post-nominal or badge.
- All credentials: ADaSci may withhold or revoke any credential for exam misconduct or fraud. We do this only after a review in which the holder can respond.
Community and your content
- You can start discussions, reply and react in the community, and you may be able to add other content such as comments or profile details.
- You are responsible for what you post. Be respectful, stay on topic and do not post anything unlawful, misleading, abusive, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Community posts are visible to other users and visitors. We may hide or remove content that breaks these terms.
- You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it, you give ADaSci a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and share it on the Services. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Acceptable use
When using the Services, you must not:
- break the law or anyone else's rights;
- share your account, or let anyone else sit an exam for you;
- copy, share or sell exam questions, answers or course material;
- try to get around payment, access controls, exam proctoring or security;
- scrape, overload or interfere with the website;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent a credential you hold.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Our content and brand
The website, courses, exams, certificates, badges and the ADaSci name and logo belong to ADaSci or its licensors. These terms do not give you any right to use them except as needed to use the Services and to show a credential you have genuinely earned.
Links and other services
The Services link to and rely on other companies, including payment providers (Stripe and Razorpay) and sign-in with Google. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their services.
Limits on our responsibility
- We work to keep the Services accurate and available, but we provide them "as is" and cannot promise they will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Under the AIDP Holder Terms, AIDP certifies that the holder met the standard set by the ADaSci Examination Board on the date of the sitting; it is not a licence to practise, an academic qualification, or a guarantee of any outcome. The same applies to every ADaSci credential: none is a licence to practise, an academic qualification, or a guarantee of any outcome, such as a job.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or opportunity. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid ADaSci in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with its effective date. If we make a significant change, we will tell account holders by email, show a notice on the site, or both, before the change takes effect. If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
